Wishlist Wednesdays-fancy heating

Unsurprisingly, this time of year in the UK can feel pretty chilly. Even with the heating on while wearing three layers, cosy slipper socks and at least one blanket wrapped round me, the cold can still somehow make its way in.

If you approach me and I look like this, don't bother asking me to do anything because I'm now in my cocoon state 😆

It also doesn't help that the floors downstairs aren't carpeted, which can make also make downstairs feel colder, and woe betide anyone who decides to step on our tiled floors bare feet during winter! You may say to me, well carpet the downstairs then, but would you want a carpeted kitchen, really? I think not...but instead, how about

Wishlist Wednesdays-slot machine

When the weather begins to improve I love heading to the seaside for a walk by the sea, some tasty food, and of course going to the arcades and having a go on the 10p slots.

While modern ones are fun to play, the moment I see a crusty old fashioned one arm bandit type slot (which are usually sitting sad and alone in a corner) I have to play it because even if I win nothing, just pulling that arm and hearing all the machinery whirl and clunk brings me joy.

Wishlist Wednesdays-soup

I love soup. It's delicious, filling, warming, can be quick to make, and comes in an endless amounts of flavours.

I used to enjoy making soup fairly often with a soup maker my parents gave to us when I moved out, as they barely used it.

It was so much fun using it, until it wasn’t...

Wishlist Wednesdays-fancy garden makeover

This year we're planning planning to do a makeover on our front and back garden as they're looking a bit shabby, but you can only do/spend so much, unless you win the lottery of course...

Wishlist Wednesdays-vending machine

Last night K and I were watching a Let's Game It Out video about a game where you look after, and sell stuff in vending machines. I said that I thought it would be cool to own one, and while I meant own one to sell whatever you wanted in it, K thought I meant it would be cool to have one in your own house, which made me think, heck yeah it would!

It's not necessary, it would take up too much space, and it would be silly to have one when we already have lots of storage space so wouldn’t need it to just keep things in, but if I won set for life I would definitely get myself one for the fun of it.

The question is what would I put in mine?

Wishlist Wednesdays-cooling air

So I didn't win on the Thunderball last night. This unfortunately means that it's the end of my run of playing Thunderball until I win something on set for life again, so today I shall instead write about another thing that is on my wishlist for when I do eventually win big 😄

Thunderball results, plus wishlist Wednesdays

With last week's set for life winnings I've been playing the Thunderball. Up to yesterday I was yet to win anything, however in yesterdays draw...

Wishlist Wednesdays-theme park holiday

My partner and I love visiting theme parks and would (and do!) visit them without the need for a lottery win, but I think it would be amazing to have the money to do a big theme park holiday without having to worry about budgeting for food, merch, or hotels stays.

Is somewhere like this worth the price? Who knows, but I'm willing to give it a try 😆 Photo from Four seasons resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

Wishlist Wednesdays-holiday home

I thought on Wednesdays where I have no wins to share with you I'd instead write a little piece about something I'd get if money was no object!

What I'd buy first if I won a chunk of change

Set for life's winning amounts are all pretty low until you get to four numbers plus life ball, which nets you £250, but if I did manage get that, or have a lucky streak of winning £50, or of course win the jackpot, the first thing I would buy, is this

It's currently on sale (£279.99 rather than 349.99) so I'd better win before it's back to full price 😄

Good luck charm-cloud

Today very much feels like spring, with blue skies and fluffy clouds dotted around.
