Whenever a new burger comes out at McDonald's partner and I use it as a good excuse to have some fast food.
This time time around though as well as a new burger McDonald's are also doing the surprize fries promotion.
All medium and large fries have a little sticker on them, and you could win a bunch of things from food to money to prizes, and even if you don't win there's a code you can scan onto the app which gives you a second chance to win something.
We ended up getting three lots of fries to give us a good chance at winning something. The first one was a try again, but we were luckier with the other two, winning a free soft drink and some chicken nuggets!
After dinner I scanned the try again one into the app, and ended up winning a free hot drink! If we're lucky we tend to only win one prize, so to win on all three was very lucky 😄
Also when I scanned it in I found that with every scan you collect a stamp, and when you've collected ten you get a bonus 2,500 points. I doubt we'll have enough fries to collect that many, but it's a nice extra.
If we do end up getting any more fries before the end of the promo I'll let you know if we win any more or not 💚
